How to Apply for a Chinese Visa

Identify the correct visa type based on your migration purpose.

Collect the necessary documents, including a valid passport, visa application form, recent passport-sized photo, and supporting documents (e.g., job offer letter, family reunion proof, acceptance letter from a Chinese institution, business invitation, etc.).

In some cases, you may be required to undergo a health examination at an approved medical facility. The results will be included in your visa application.

Submit your visa application, along with the required documents, to the nearest Chinese Embassy or Consulate. Some countries also have Visa Application Centers that handle this process.

Pay the visa application fee, which varies depending on your nationality and the type of visa you are applying for.

Be prepared for an interview at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate, if required.

Wait for your visa application to be processed. Processing times can vary, so apply well in advance of your planned migration date.

Once approved, collect your visa, ensuring it has the correct type and duration.
